Join Parabilis
Parabilis has been adopted by institutions so they can take control over purchasing practices and ensure buyers only purchase goods and services from their preferred supplier list. As such, Parabilis is not a ‘free’ e-marketplace where any supplier can advertise their goods and services for institutions to purchase.
If suppliers feel they should be part of the preferred supplier list this may indeed be the case; however, as institutions generally roll-out Parabilis on a department by department basis there is no benefit for suppliers in compiling a catalogue until the institution has requested to use a supplier via the e-marketplace. Once this request is made the supplier will be contacted and asked to produce a catalogue that can be hosted on Parabilis.
