Parabilis

Welcome to the Parabilis website, a dedicated resource split into three separate areas:

Parabilis Area: This section of the website is available for use by institutions, suppliers and those who want to learn more about Parabilis and e-marketplaces. It provides a particularly good reference point for institutions who have yet to sign to an e-procurement provider and for suppliers new to the e-procurement concept. There is also a short functional overview available in these pages.

Institution Area: This is a restricted area for the sole use of institutions. It provides a range of informative tools which aim to outline the benefits of electronic procurement and assist any Institute wishing to adopt an e-marketplace.

Additionally, the Institution area has a number of best practice documents including a business plan and Project Initiation Document, anonymous for ease of reference.

Supplier Area: This area of the website will assist suppliers who wish to join Parabilis, or those who have already joined and currently enjoy the benefits of trading via the marketplace. It acts as a useful reference site for suppliers who are considering trading with the Higher Education and Further Education sectors via an e-marketplace.

There are a variety of tools to assist suppliers in making the change to e-Procurement. Suppliers who already have a Punch-out link or hosted catalogue will find the most benefits in these pages.
